"I've absolutely nothing to announce today," Trudeau told reporters outdoors the Liberal Party caucus meeting in Ottawa Wednesday morning.
"Glad to see everyone in a good mood today, mais je n'ai rien a dire ce matin."
Trudeau's comments come within 24 hours CTV News learned he'd be putting the historical whispers to relaxation in an announcement in the Quebec riding next Tuesday, as he will formally announce his intention to find the government Liberals' top job.
In Ottawa, CTV's Chief Parliamentary Correspondent Craig Oliver stated it is no surprise the Mega pixel for Parizeau really wants to lead the Liberals.
When requested about his intentions in recent several weeks, Trudeau has shied from carrying out to some leadership run.
Still, experts have thought about him a leader.
"I believe if he decides to operate, anyone who runs against him is wasting the $75,000 it'll cost you them to get involved with the race," Oliver told CTV's Canada AM early Wednesday.
"It will likely be virtually a coronation, which is not great for the Liberal party. That's the way they selected their last leader," Oliver added.
"He must be examined. He has not been examined in almost any particularly aggressive way on issues or any other things; however i don't believe he will have that within this situation."
The Liberals' new leader is going to be selected on April 14, inside a new procedure that enables both compensated party people and non-having to pay supporters to cast ballots.
Within the last election, the Liberals were reduced to 3rd-party status, with only 35 seats in the home of Commons.
